  7. or anything like that.  This program is FreeWare!  I only wish that you try

  10. What is WBSearch?
  11. -----------------
  12.    WBSearch is a simple file searching utility that opens an AppMenuItem
  13. for itself and stays resident.
  14.  
  15. How do I use WBSearch?
  16. ----------------------
  17.    To use WBSearch, all you have to do is click on an icon or icons, enter
  18. the search pattern, and click on Ok or hit return.  The search pattern does
  19. not support pattern matching symbols, only matches letters in the filename
  20. in continuous order.  The search is non case sensitive.  Click on the
  21. 'Stop' button to stop the search, and once more to get rid of the display.
  22. If the search has finished already, you only need to click on 'Stop' once.
  23. You may resize the window as it is searching, and the gadgets will resize
  24. themself accordingly.  This is usefull if you have huge paths, and need to
  25. see the whole filename.

  27. How do I quit WBSearch?
  28. -----------------------
  29.    Easily.  Just select the AppMenuItem without any icons, and press 'Yes'
  30. to quit, or 'No' to cancel.

  32. About WBSearch
  33. --------------
  34.    WBSearch is fully multitasking, meaning you can open multiple search
  35. displays, and search multiple devices/directories.  Just be carefull when
  36. searching the same floppy, or any device for that matter...it can wreak
  37. havok with the heads going back and forth between locations.  Each spawned
  38. process is given 16KB because it uses a recursive function to enter
  39. directories, and is the only way to do it.  If anybody actually overflows
  40. this stack, I will implement a ToolType in the icon for a variable
  41. stacksize.  You may select multiple icons of devices/directories to search
  42. and it will search each one by one.  If you would like to search multiple
  43. files at the SAME time, you will have to select search from the menu two
  44. times.

  51. P.S.  I just finished this August 11 at 12:16 on a Wednesday, and don't
  52. have any idea for an icon, so I just used the basic SAS 'wrench' icon.
  53. Anyone with drawing ability may alter the archive to change the
  54. WBSearch.info icon.
